Rikke Ulk - Chief anthropologist

Rikke Ulk is an anthropologist from the University of Copenhagen (2002), specialising in the concepts of sociality and urbanity, focused on clubbing. She studied in Brazil, done fieldwork in New York. She has a deep knowledge of urban anthropology and performance anthropology, celebrating distinctive and aesthetic forms of being.
Rikke established antropologerne.com in 2003 and is engaged in using anthropology for the causes of humanity and the environment in organisations, politics, companies and society.
Rikke ensures the use of visual and generative methods, design methods and social media together with qualitative methods, analyses and approaches.
Thismix creates ownership, knowledge sharing, value and respect between the parties who want to or will change gadgets, workflow, services or mind-sets.
Rikke manages antropologerne.com nationally and internationally and is responsible overall for customer relations, development and quality assurance in all projects.

Katja Øder Schlesinger – Design anthropologist/senior anthropologist

Katja Øder Schlesinger is an anthropologist with a high level of academic qualifications combined with a solid practical experience as a consultant in the leading section of the Danish design business. She is an expert in designing
with people, not just
for people.
Katja has been engaged in the fields of service design, digital design, visual identity, strategic design and sustainable design for clients such as Carlsberg, DSB, Movia, the Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority, the Danish Design School, the Danish Energy Saving Trust and a large number of municipalities.
Katja’s work is interdisciplinary, focusing on the creative and visual entirety, and she produces and communicates results in a way that renders them accessible and understandable to users, designers, scholars and decision-makers alike.

Trine Demant - Anthropologist

Trine Demant is an anthropologist from the University of Copenhagen and the Danish Educational University (2008). She wrote her Master’s thesis on divorced fathers in the field of educational anthropology.
Since then, Trine has worked for Protocol – a career network for businesswomen – and as a freelancer for a number of visionary, creative and sustainable projects and initiatives, given that these had enough ‘edge’ for Trine, who is smart, responsible and ready to change situations, find intelligent and better ways to do things, solve problems and accommodate needs. That is why we are proud to have Trine among us.
At antropologerne.com Trine has, since December 2010, worked as a consultant and Project Manager on a larger project to bring about change for the Municipality of Esbjerg. The project is involved in creating mastery in the home-care sector and the development of new methods and formats.

Rikke Hoelgaard Andersen - Anthropologist

Rikke Hoelgaard Andersen, an anthropologist from the University of Copenhagen (2006), wrote her Master’s thesis on equality, exchange and homeliness among Danes in India.
Rikke had previously been a part of antropologerne.com, and is
finally back again. Since last time, she has been employed by the Municipality of Ishøj, on a cross-municipal product-development project, “Self-reliant with Technology”; and by Copenhagen University, teaching design-anthropology with Joachim Halse from Copenhagen University, by the University of Information Technology and the Danish Design School.
Rikke is a consultant and Project Manager of a development project on behalf of the Municipality of Esbjerg, Department of Health and Care, whom we assist with citizen-involvement and the testing of new methods in a health advice centre in the easterly residential area of the city.
Rikke’s good spirit is infectious and her creative and keen analytical gaze is very enriching.

Pi Ammentorp - Designer

Pi Ammentorp is a newly qualified designer with a great deal of experience in working conceptually in a user-centred way. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design and a Master’s Degree in Digital Design and Communication from the IT-University of Copenhagen. She specialises in developing and designing with the user at the centre.
Parallel with her studies, Pi has worked as a designer at one of the major innovation agencies in Denmark and thus she already has a solid experience with design and user-involvement in the consultancy line of business.
Pi started working at antropologerne.com in February 2011 and has already left her stamp on our newly developed probes, workshop material, prototypes and products. She confidently lays down a new beautiful, creative, efficient and taut-but-colourful line for antropologerne.com.

Ole Ankær Christensen - Advisor

Ole Ankær Christensen is an advisor and business developer at antropologerne.com. Since the winter of 2008, Ole has contributed to the professionalization of antropologerne.com with his great experience in management and patient disposition. He is responsible for finances and HR.
Ole is on the board of directors and works as a business developer and management consultant, conducted through his company OAC-Consulting.

Margit Anne Petersen (freelance) - Anthropologist

Margit Anne Petersen currently works as a research assistant at the University of Copenhagen and was employed at antropologerne.com in 2009 and 2010. She is now freelancing for us on small-scale projects.
Margit has examined the security culture for a major producer of wind turbines and conducted research into job satisfaction and well-being among production-workers in a large industrial company. Previously she has worked on a range of projects at municipal and national level, e.g. SCKK, Digital Means of Learning, SKAT and the service design-project More Attendance for Jobcenter Copenhagen in Skelgækgade.
Margit undertook and solved our most recent project on Outlet shopping to the customer’s usual great satisfaction, and ours as well.
Margit has recently released an educational book on integration and social scientific methods for the publishing company Systime.

Jonas Pors - Student assistent

Jonas
Pors is currently studying at the Institute of Anthropology at Copenhagen University. At the moment he is writing his Bachelor’s Degree thesis on Romany human rights inside the EU and expects to commence his Master’s Degree at the Institute of Anthropology in autumn 2011.
Jonas has been employed at antropologerne.com since February 2011 and assists in practical matters, helping out with various projects when needed.
